I'm guessing it is just a data entry omission.

Here is a screenshot of the current Anacs pop report:

Here is the coin obv and rev. It was sold at Heritage in 2014:

Nice coin, accurately-imo-graded regardless of 'holder!

That is a nice looking Morgan.

I agree. I was looking at the pop report and then was looking at Heritage archives when I found the discrepancy. Would love to track down this one. My guess is someone who frequents the Vamworld forum probably owns it.

Thank you! I wasn't aware that you have connections with them. At some point I remember people sending the inserts from cracked out coins to TPGs to help update the pop reports, but I didn't know if that was still happening or if the updates were actually being processed. At first I thought maybe that might have been the case with this one!

Overall look is better than a 5 IMO, maybe the marks on the neck held it.
Nice coin with a nice die clash

Very nice Morgan... if not for the marks on the neck, would certainly pop up a grade...maybe more. Cheers, RickO

I'm the Texas show rep., and developed the cert verification and population report for them. It just needed to be flagged to include in the population. It's fixed now:
