    Thank you for bringing that link up, @tonedSilver as I recall reading something about these coins but didn’t remember. I’d get a sigma to verify gold composition on this coin because it is very suspicious.

    Always buying nice toned coins! Searching for a low grade 1873 Arrows DDO Dime and 1842-O Small Date Quarter.

    Well I'll be. This piece came to me as the one gold coin in a group of 90% silver. Doing a quick check, it looked legit and there are several Ebay offerings right around/above what I'd expect to see a 1/10oz gold coin selling for. That "24" may very well only mean "24% gold". So much for the limited "venture" into foreign bullion... I'll let the buyer know and offer to cancel.
