Watchcount.com.....do they capture the correct price on sales under the BIN price?

ex. A card has BIN of $5000.00 .... the card actually gets sold for $4250.00 as a Best Offer...Will Watchcount publish the correct sales price or merely publish the sale @5k? Gratzi!

    Post the link.

In most cases you simply in put the EBAY listing number and click on item purchase history and it goes to a different screen and will show the price.

Yes. If it shows a price it will be the best offer price if the sale ended that way.

Watchcount isn’t a pay service. To answer your own question simply enter the item number into the yellow highlighted box and then click the show me button. A screen will come up showing all the info with the listed/selling price of the card. If the card sold for less than the listed price there will also be a sold for price highlighted in yellow.

...which is probably how PSA acquires the correct sales data on BIN items when they enter them into their Auction Prices database.

I can't get Watchcount to work on BIN's. Anyone else having trouble?

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/1982-Wrestling-All-Stars-Hulk-Hogan-PSA-9-WWF-WWE-AWA-Rookie-Card-RC-HOF-/283515857550?_trksid=p2047675.m43663.l10137&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true

This Hogan didn't sell for full price because it has a line through it and I know what Gregg got for it. What is so odd is when I do a search by PSA in trading cards generally the item will rank in price where it sold yet this one ranks at full price. I have tried numerous other items recently and no luck.

It also for some reason didn't pick up in PSA auction prices.

"Note: Items below that sold via Best Offer may not currently be displaying accurate selling prices, due to an eBay API data feed bug, since mid-June. eBay is aware of the issue and apparently is planning to make repairs. However, this may take a few days (yay!) or several weeks (boo!). We know this is frustrating to some of our visitors, and we apologize; however, this is out of our control. Thank you for hanging in there, and we hope eBay sorts this out soon."

Could this be due to not having the card number in the title?

    @LarkinCollector

    Thank you very much!

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered before but why is eBay so reluctant to reveal BIN best offers when other websites like Watchcount do reveal them?

No idea, eBay revealed BINs in most (all?) other countries until this latest snafu. Without Watchcount, you could always replace the .com with .co.uk and it would show.

I found that a week or so ago from a Google search and tried it and it didn't work for the item above. Just tried it again and no luck.

Just tried another item and same thing. I assume they are dealing with the same data feed issue.

This is the best “best offer” tool....

I just tried flippertools on a PSA 1 Gretzky rookie I sold last week... It showed the BIN price ($139) as the sales price even though I accepted a lower offer ($120)... Useless!!

Try it yourself, eBay item #192949950661

It's because of the eBay API issue that is also affecting wathcount.com. Any site that uses the eBay API will have this issue until/if it is resolved.
