    Copper plating bubbles/issues.

    Just wasn't copper-coated properly.

    Very common, but neat to see on the
    "P" -mint '17.

    Nasty plating issue... When I was in an industry that did gold, silver, copper and lead plating, this would have been a reject. Mint standards are evidently not so stringent. Cheers, RickO

    I totally appreciate all the responses. As well as other photos of the similar issue. I believe I keep it as an reference. Also neat as well.
