I don’t follow. They are just combining the blue and the red and differentiating by either trading card or the actual set if the card is graded. This should have no impact on the PSA/DNA side of the set registry.
This will have no effect on the PSA/DNA side of the registry. That side has many mediums, baseballs, bats, HOF plques, etc that are apples to oranges to just signed trading cards. If you try to add an auto in which the card that has not been authenticated(old blue flip) on the PSA registry it will not take it. They will continue being separate registry entities with no changes forthcoming.
For the record, the color of the label will have no impact on the PSA Set Registry and where items go. The same rules still apply. This change went into effect on January 1, 2019, regarding any submissions to PSA that were entered after that date. Going forward, all items will now be processed, evaluated and (pending authentication) encapsulated using PSA's red LightHouse label.
I'd been waiting for about 18 months for PSA to authenticate Erk Russell autographs, who coached at Georgia Southern (and was long-time Georgia DC), colors blue and white. Really sad that's not going to happen now.

I am in the process of requesting a new autograph set for the registry. Should I enter my red flip inventory in PSA or PSA/DNA?

Thanks MrHockey.

I'm not terribly excited about this change. I like the Blue Flip.

Why would blue to red color change affect their authentication of Erk Russell autographs?
