They are only worth exchange rate. about 75c US each.

If you're in Canada, take them to your bank and change for new cash.
By the by, I always though the strike quality on these was rather poor compared to the previous dollars, but then it is an overly complicated design.
reverse looks mushy, doesn't it? Too bad
and now that I look at it, the hair detail on the obverse is uninspiring
