Do you think this increases/decreases final sales total? Thoughts.....

I'm all for it. Tired of these things going on for hours and hours. At the very least, if a single item hasn't had a bid, let it end. Don't make everyone wait for possibly one item that keeps getting bid on.
Doesn’t Heritage run their auctions that way as well? If a certain lot has no bids a half an hour after the end it closes. And there is an auction house out there I felt always seemed to go the extra mile and find the level of your max bid when you placed it at a decent hour and went to bed. Always a lot of late night bids pushing your bid to the max
Legend (coins) has two types of auctions. Live works as expected, but the online only has each lot scheduled to end 30 seconds apart, but if there is a bid in the last three minutes, the clock resets to three minutes. That way there is no ability to snipe, but auctions rarely last ten minutes longer than scheduled.
If your lot has not bids after 10 minutes than it is yours. You should not have to wait for the entire auction to end.
