Sweet...good luck on the rip. LT rookie is such an under valued card!

Since I don't collect FB, this'll be a fun one for me.

What RCs are in the 82T?

    Best of luck.

Taylor, Lott, and Munoz are some of the greatest to ever play their positions. All are undervalued cards in my opinion.

Cool, I'm working on this set in PSA 10 and raw well-centered nm-mt.

That's some top notch centering in the first scan and part of the second.

Forgot Jan Stenurud went on to play for the Packers and forgot he was 7'9'' tall.

Joe Delaney was off to a great start to his career in KC, drowned in the off season trying to
pull some kids from a steep banked pond.

Were the LT and Munoz cards torn like that in the box?

I think there are some slight surface blemishes on the Taylor IA.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

And the Lott doesn't appear to have the smudge that plagues so many.

Nice Lott but I'm sure not seeing a 10 there, unfortunately. Here's hoping that you get another one of it in that box that is though!

You know the ripped cards always made me shrug until it was a Payton. As a Bears fan kind of made me shudder. Thanks for sharing been fun to watch.

I never realized how few action shots there were in this set except for the IAs. It seems as though all the shots were taken on the bench.

So as I wait for a bulk sub to pop which includes my first large amount of cards to sub from this set, I was wondering if anybody has had any luck with this set? I busted a ton of wax, cellos, and racks for this set, and I'm debating whether or not to send in the next 60 or so cards I have left. I sent a couple of HOFers earlier this year, and man, I was a little disappointed. Maybe I was a little too optimistic with the Lott with its usual print smears and softer corner, but the LT was a headscratcher to me. Was really hoping for at worst one of the 2 to be a 9. If I'm just going to be getting 8s, I might throw in the towel. Not sure how 4SC pulls it off.

Psa 10 is tough to obtain.
If all cards got a 10 then there goes the allure.

Yes, 10s are tough for sure. I've opened a lot of this stuff, and the centering is atrocious for the majority of cards. Add in the print issues (stains, smears, fading colors, defects, etc.), and there aren't many candidates in most boxes. Problem with this set is the value for 10s isn't that much compared to the grading fees. 8s are losers for sure, and the 9s hold for only the HOF RCs...and not by much.

Had 14 cards in a bulk sub that popped today

    Gem MT 10 - 1
    Mint 9 - 11
Ex 5 - 2 (obviously missed something on the surface with these two)

Whew, was hoping for a better percentage than that. Have another 30 or so in another bulk sub that probably won't pop for 5 months.
