newp: Wurzburg sede vacante medals (new Kuenker)

This one will soon be en route from Germany to join the collection. The sede vacante issue was struck in 1754 after the death of Karl Philipp Freiherr von Greiffenclau zu Vollraths (1690–1754). Amazing name, no?
The medal is 29.1 g; 44mm. Classified as Helm 699 / Zepernick 259. It depicts the 3 saints of Wurzburg, martyred in 689 while performing missionary work in the area: Kilian, Kolonat, and Totnan.

Pleasant surprise! Won this one in the Kuenker auction today. It has been a long time since a bid of mine managed to survive in a Kuenker auction. This 1779 Wurzburg sede vacante medal (Zepernick 262) is the smaller 35mm cousin of the more commonly found 44 mm Zepernick 261 issue of the same year (second image).
Congratulations! Very beautiful medal, as is the original one as well.
Thanks for sharing!
