Why in 2018 can everyone add their age to their birth year and it always comes out to 2018 ?
Any math wizards out there who can explain this ?

Your premise is incorrect.
When I add my age to my birth year, it comes up to 2017. That is because my birthday has not yet occured this year.
The only day of the year that your premise is correct, is Dec 31st, as at that point, everyone's birthday that year has occured.

How do you determine your age? Subtract the age you were born from the year that it is now if your birthday has already occurred. It’s the same thing. Not exactly earth shattering. Ha.
