Looks like this 2018 Orioles team is bad, but it's the first time they've appeared in the all time worst list.

Looks like Boston didn't help themselves any by changing their name from Doves to Rustlers.
Unfortunately the St. Louis Browns became the Baltimore Orioles in 1954, so those putrid Brownies records are also credited to the Orioles franchise.
The Philadelphia A's and Philadelphia Phillies are not the same team.
Not even in the same league.
Orioles’ (including all franchises) have a .475 winning %. The Phillies’ is .472.
The Twins (including their Senator days) and the As are the only other teams of the original 16 below.500-I think. The Braves are barely above. They were horrific before WWII, and really bad for most of the 70s and 80s.
