Do you sell your cards Auction or BIN?

I always list my cards with a BIN price, if it does not sell gradually lower price until it does.
But I love to buy auction, my best pickup, bid $143 for card got it for $13 in Dec 2017. Checked PSA Auction Prices Realized, that card has been selling all year for $120.

I list items as BIN only and lower the price over time as you mentioned.

Some of both. Depends if I think it’s more of a specialty item with narrow appeal (BIN) or a more broad appeal item (auction).
BIN if I don’t want to lose money, auction on something I think could draw interest or I just want it gone...and sometimes I’ll sell something at auction with a previous BIN price as the starting price because of people who only look at auctions

The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.
Rocky Mountain Sports Cards is having great success with auctions featuring nice examples of low pop cards. In many cases they are realizing prices beyond the wildest buy it now price I could have imagined.
