Pre-depression era mechanical bank. Head has been repainted long ago. Great patina on body. Works flawlessly. Recent sale at over $500 with shipping on Ebay. This one is nicer. Put the coin in his hand and work the lever on his shoulder. His hand goes to his mouth, eyes roll back, and coin is deposited into the bank. $450 shipped insured. Lots of info on the interweb about these banks if you want to do more research.

Interesting piece for sure! It would be cool to fill with Barbers.
