2018 ANA Young Numismatist Summer Seminar Auction

Many members on this board are continually encouraging young people to join our hobby which is great. The YNs who attend the ANA Summer Seminar are truly passionate about numismatics and your numismatic donation helps the ANA offer Summer Seminar scholarships every year.

I created a video discussing the summer seminar as well as the YN auction.

Thanks again to those who have contributed a numismatic item to this years ANA Young Numismatist Scholarship auction to be held the last two weeks of June. This is a reminder that if you plan on donating, please do so in the next two weeks so it will arrive by the first summer seminar week.

If you have any questions, please let me know. It would be great to set a record this year!

The ANA shared some exciting news this week regarding a large donation made by the Eric P. Newman Education Society to the ANA Summer Seminar. Here is a link to the release. Your numismatic donation is now even more significant as the donation amount includes the doubling of the proceeds earned during each of the auctions held during the summer seminar. Click the link to learn more. If you are generously considering a donation, please send it before June 5, 2018 so it will arrive at the ANA before the seminars begin.

Not too late if anyone else wants to mail in a numismatic item or two. **Your donation this year is especially important as the Eric P. Newman Educational Society is matching whatever we raise during both weeks. **If you can send in a donation on Monday June 11th, please send it priority mail. Simply print out the donation form (link is in the original post) and send it to the ANA address noted on the form. If you are a dealer, you are welcome to use your company name. When we create the auction catalog, we have a thank you acknowledgement page.

Ancients and world coins normally receive a lot of bids!
