That 3.5 was only a pop 2 ! The 2.5 and 1.5 will be tough because there aren't any yet. Might have to make your own by beating up some lower grade raw ones a bit and self-subbing.
They are tough on this card for sure. I sent in my best copy that I thought was an easy 8 and it got a 6. Would have been more surprised but had read over the years that this was the case and it was confirmed.
It definately proves that there are so many ways to enjoy the hobby!
I'm always reluctant with Upper Deck cards because I know the secret weapon is the hologram and I definitely have no idea what a good hologram looks like compared to a bad one.
Perhaps a complete run of the '90 Griffey now? At least that will be cheaper. Either way, this is great and original and I'm glad I was around to see it. Looking forward to your next project.

On a related note, I’m surprised that a 2, 3, and 4 even exist. Think about it: normal attributes for a 2, 3, and 4 include bad centering and corner wear. With the improvement of quality control (centering) in the late 80s and the tougher card stock, it would be harder to “create” a 3 with significant corner wear. Fairly easy to create a 1, and a card with a surface wrinkle is usually a 5, but the other low grades (and half grades) are probably tough to come by,

That will take a lot of precision
Creating a 1.5 is really easy. You can do it by adhering a small bit of album page to the back of an otherwise good card. The 2.5 would be much tougher to get right the first time.

Would love to see a complete .5 run for this iconic card as well.
BALROG should send in his 5 for a review; asking for a 4.5. I would love to hear what PSA has to say about that. The anti-bump.
Collecting PSA 9's from 1970-1977. Raw 9's from 72-77. Raw 10's from '78-'83. Collecting Unopened from '72-'83; mostly BBCE certified boxes/cases/racks. Prefer to buy in bulk.

This is way cool. It would look really neat if they were all framed or displayed somehow. Nice going.

Arguably the most iconic baseball card of the 1980s. Sweet run...congrats!
Very nice! What was the hardest one to find?

Well...
I'm a fan.
I just took a look at recently completed and was surprised to see a 3.5 sold for 50% more than a 5.5!

I think you now have to go for the half grades.

Confirming that I am far, far from being a professional grader, that 4 looks like a PSA 10 to me!
Great run!
Cool now try that with Beckett lol
This is such an excellent example of why collecting is so fun. Great idea BTW.
How long did this take you?
