Who's getting ready for Cleveland already?

The Crisser is! Gonna be savage in The Land!
It's really not that far off if you think about it!

My brother and I have the week taken off at work. Now we can just hope that nothing else pops up between now and then. I probably do need to start thinking about hotel arrangements. Waiting till the last minute on that would probably not be a good idea.
I daydream about the Natty at least twice daily.
See you there Brian!
But I have promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep."

Collecting:
Any unopened Baseball cello and rack packs and boxes from the 1970's and early 1980s.
Is that all? I dream about it all night long.

i constantly daydream about breathing the air from the room in which grandma jenny's cases reside, all of the ways i can authoritatively specify how jordangretzkyfan should spend his own money, and crisser's luscious pipes.
not necessarily in that order
you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
Indians versus the Angels Friday and Saturday.
Planning to attend Friday's game. It'll be my daughter's 1st National.
I can't call it the Natty because Mikelowell25 will get angry
Excited for sure and plan to swing by the football HOF in Canton, Ohio.
Have been waiting all year for it. Like Christmas in August. I like the IX layout better, but walking across the street from the Doubletree, backpack full of cookies, and Gibson’s for dinner at night is hard to beat.
Maybe someone from here will actually meet "The Crisser" this year.

Can't wait to meet back up with ya Mike, same as everybody here. I am gonna brow beat my brother to death on this year's convention because it looks like it might be my last one for some time. He is still dragging his feet a little. Since my son is in the Marines and likely to be all over the globe, we plan on using that excuse to see him each year. Sounds like the first stop is somewhere in Japan.
Heck, nothing else was gonna get me out of the country
For me, Chicago is closer to home. But that is the only upside to it. I loved Cleveland the first time I was there. The extras around there like the NFL Hall of Fame, Rock n Roll Hall of fame, the retired Submarine U.S.S Cod, and on and on is awesome. I just didn't find much else outside the convention in Chicago that I cared for too much. But that has more to do with personal taste/preferences of course.
My son and I are fired up. We're staying downtown at the Metropolitan. Planning on baseball game and other activities.

It's a must!! Had an awesome time there last time. Probably the funniest part of our trip out there last time. Listen to this....
So the women and men in our group split up. They wanted to do something (can't remember now just what) and it just so happened that they were getting the field there ready for the Hall of Fame game. I assumed painting lines, mowing, whatever. So they made some announcement that everybody should stop by and see it. So me and the boys were like "awesome"! So we take off walking to find the field. We ask a guy wearing a radio where it was, figured he was security or something. Anyway, for whatever reason he thought me and the boys were groundskeepers or something. Listening to him talk on the radio, he was going to send us to a shed to get lawnmowers and spreaders and what not.
I said, whoa buddy, we are tourist. I gotta mow my own yard, I didn't drive all the way out here to mow yours!! Of course, we was all laughing and he was apologizing and pretty embarrassed 100% true story
the Metropolitan looks like a great spot. How far is it from the IX Center?
Manny, it's downtown Cleveland. I was told about 12-15 miles away. Since we are going to enjoy other activities, it seemed like a good call. A member here on the forum suggested it to us.
