Would like to know the grand of this 1849 large cent thank you

    First thing I look at is the hair at the top of the head. Next the hair over the ear, then the amount of detail on the leaves.

    Now, Log on to your computer and go to the PGGS Grading images and make a guess for yourself and tell us the reasons for your guess. Then I and perhaps others will comment more.

    The Large cent guys would probably say VF-30-35. I think XF 40-45 is what most dealers would grade it. So IMO, Good Guess!
