Which would you rather have ?

A PSA 9 OC or PSA 7 ? Building a set, wondering what the preference was.
Yes I know we would all rather have a PSA 10. lol
Thanks !

I'll take the one with better eye appeal, which could be either of them!
Agree.
I will take the one with the better centering as that is the first thing I notice and the thing that will bother me the most about the card.

If the 7 is well-centered, and matches up well with the other cards in my set, I would take it; otherwise, I would wait for one that is centered and matches up with my other cards.

9 oc all day if centering is equal to a 7.
A mint card should have sharp corners.
Centered 7 > 9 oc
A well centered 7 all day long.

My brain is conditioned for centered cards or at least close to center. I can't handle way off center cards and I think a lot of people feel the same way.
When I opened a box of 83F BB, my eye went "first" to centering.
Hard to say. Would depend on year/set, and player. I like centered cards but it's not the be all end all for me. I see some cards get tagged as "centered" but look like absolute dogs in other areas. Centering, registration, focus, corners all carry equal weight with me.
I agree with most of the posts so far ... a well centered "7" over a 9o/c all day long.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Centered 7’s were always my go too. I personally never put a card with a qualifier on it in my sets.
I vote on the 7 as well, nothing wrong with them. With a 9oc then you will just keep staring at it and wonder how the factory messed up so badly lol.

if the 7 is perfectly centered? easy answer....or both??
