Got some grades back

Only 2 weeks and already heading back, hard to beat that. But I also have some ancients in for grading, no telling when they come back. I don't have pics of the Maundy set yet but I'm particularly chuffed about the French piece.

That French piece is super cool. I've never seen that type before, but I like it!

Very nice French piece and great grades on the Maundy set as well.
I hope to get similar grades on the 1955 Maundy set I’ve got in right now, along with 2 Victoria Veiled Head Sets .
Oddly the rarer sets are the Elizabeth ones rather than the Veiled Head Victoria ones . For many years up until 1908, Maundy Sets could be purchased by collectors and mintages were pushing 8-10 thousand Sets a year. That practice was discontinued in 1909 and mintages then dropped to between 1-2 thousand Sets a year until the present day.
Of course with the passage of time, the older sets could have been impaired by handling or cleaning to bring down the number of pristine sets left.

Very nice! I especially like the toning and the completeness of the horse and rider.
