Consignors not getting their stuff sold?

Know of multiple people who consigned material to be sold weeks ago to certain large volume consignors and have not had their stuff sold.

What's a reasonable amount of time for a consignor to hold material and what should they communicate to consignors if they cannot sell the material right away? We're talking 4-5 figure amounts here.

This can't be pwcc since everything should be scheduled by the next month. I'd say tell probstein to get off his ---- and to ship to pwcc. Heh

How long is weeks and who are the victims? Seems like broad statements to me, with little evidence.

I consigned with Rick Probstein well over 5 figures of PSA graded material over the last 3-4 month. I experienced quick listings and timely payments. In fact i received full payment within 3-4 days after the auctions were completed. Highly recommend anyone wanting to sell good material to consider him.

I buy from Rick but I stopped using him for consignment. I usually consign $250-$3000 items.

I use PWCC. I sent some high end modern basketball boxes to Rick and the listings had errors that cost me a significant amount when the auction ended. I tried to get him to cancel the auction to correct the error but never got a reply. PWCC's system is much better for higher end stuff. Payment takes longer than Rick since PWCC lists once per month.

I am looking for another consignment service since PWCC's fee structure is a little expensive for lower end cards.

Looking at the OP's post again, if the consignor he is referencing is Rick, I know that Rick immediately lists prime items ($500+). The boxes I sent him went up a day after he received them. He mentioned to me that he does prioritize better items over the lower value stuff.

What type of stuff are we talking about here?
10,000.00 Mickey Mantle single item? Id say by the next coming sunday evening.
10,000.00 in 2 billion 1989 Donruss commons. I'd give them about 30 years to life.
Anything else I guess would fall between these 2 scenarios
