Is a 1959 d worth getting graded. What's your opinion?

Just wanted to see what everyone's opinions were on grading coins and which coins you feel would meet on the guidelines of being grade worthy

1959 D ??
It would help if you were more specific..... What coin? Condition? Cheers, RickO
uh, nope.
Based on the above parameters.

Sorry about that thought I actually posted the 59d
It need to grade 67 or better to make it worth the fees. I'm not seeing the luster needed for a 67 grade.
Save your money. A 59-D cent is an extremely common coin and would require an exceptionally high grade in a slab to cover the fees. It isn't worth the risk to play the grading game.
That is a good album coin for your Lincoln set.... definitely not worth grading. Cheers, RickO
Yes, the above is true.
Although the coin looks nice from the picture, (looks 66 to me) even a 66 or 66+ would not be a break-even deal, as TomB said.
Even 67s have dropped in price recently to around $100 give or take.
Like already has been said, not worth the expense. Without looking, you could probably find one already graded cheaper than it is for you to get yours graded (if you are building a graded set). Its an excellent album coin and you wont have to stress over plastic and stickers.

Steve

Check and see if it's wexler DDO-007 .

Here's what to look for .
Description: Doubled lips and chin.
Just looked at it with the 60x's hard to get a pic, but it is doubled. Good eye
No.
Not worth the effort.
Good way to go broke.
If it's an authentic silver dollar, yes. If it's pocket change -- Why?
So even with a ddo it's not worth it.
If it in fact is a DDO, I would.
To each his own...
