Thanks, asking because over the last year I've missed several issues. Don't think its PSA fault, think one of my neighbors enjoys the magazine as much as I do. They also like my credit card bills,,,,, lol

Didn't even bother opening it today, straight into the trash.Thought it was Sports Market Report, not Pokemon Illustrated.

Last years Comic Con Collector's Edition was my favorite SMR for that year.
Straight to the trash for me as well. I hate that stuff.
Thought the article on Magic The gathering Arabian Nights expansion was fun. Played that game a lot in late 1994, 1995. Good memories.

In this case you can. Also noticed that they did not have hockey (vintage or modern) listed in the price guide. I guess hockey now falls behind MLB, NFL, NBA, AND Pokémon.

Like them or not Pokemon cards have exploded. Props to Scott Pratte for killing it. People can make fun of these cards all they want but he is laughing all the way to the bank. Nice job dude. I like it.
Definetly good on him for being in front of it and making some coin but when you put Pokémon on the cover of your magazine entitled "Sports Market Report" I believe you are missing with a vast majority of your audience.
Pokémon is what? A TV show of cartoons? Honestly I don't even know? It came out when I was in college and died down before my kids where born. None of my (5) kids have ever brought them up. So I'm clueless.

It is the Comic Con edition. It runs once a year. PSA is smart and tries to expand their audience. It is working.

In the interest of full disclosure, I did purchase 1st Edition sets of Pokemon Fossil and Jungle back in the day. I thought I was buying them for my kids, but since I still have them, that was probably not true.
