Please see 2003 Topps Chrome BKB break thread to reserve packs.
I have two boxes of 2003 Topps Chrome Basketball Hobby Boxes that I purchased from a dealer a few years ago at the Frank & Sons show in SoCal. He opened the boxes, pulled the box topper, and then sold me the packs and original box. If you are familiar with the show dealers you probably know who I am talking about. I've been debating what to do with these boxes. I want to open a few packs, but I'm not sure I want to open 48 at the current prices.
Would there be any interest in doing a 48 pack group break? I haven't figured out the logistics or cost yet, but the prices would be at a discount to a sealed hobby box. The boxes and packs are exactly like they were when he opened them. I'll post pics after I get home tonight.

Here are pics of the boxes. The packs were only taken out once when I bought them and counted the packs to make sure they were all there. If enough people show interest, I will come up with plan for the break. Thanks for the interest.

OK. I've been thinking about a price and came up with $50/pack (plus $3 S&H). That prices out to $1200/box. I tried to price in the box topper being taken out. The latest boxes prices are in the $1700+ range and I see single packs selling for a lot more than $50. I wanted to be fair to the board, if this price works I will post the rules.
