Check out Dire Strait's "Walk on Life" music video w/ lots of athlete cameos; how many can you name?
in Sports Talk
I just discovered the music video for Dire Strait's song "Walk on Life" and I love how it has all these athlete cameos...how many can you name?
PS: The one with Rollie Fingers and his Brewers celebrating was tricky because at first I only remembered them going to the 1982 World Series and they weren't celebrating that...it was the year before when they clinched the "2nd half AL East" title (boy did they do the 1981 strike season weird).

I thought Roger Craig was in it, now I will watch it lol
Yep Roger Craig scoring a TD
Lots of Cowboys in it.
I thought I'd bump this to see if any of the rest of you can fill in the missing pieces...like that NBA coach/ref in each other's faces...I thought that was only a baseball thing!

That's Ralph Sampson launching a shot at 0:56, and a rookie Michael Jordan doing his windmill dunk at 3:15. Great song, great band, the 80s was one of the best decades of music.
Gerald Willhite doing the backflip after a TD is my favorite in that video.
One more that just dawned on me, that's Butch Johnson of the Denver Broncos at 3:24 doing the moonwalk and spiking the football.
I totally forgot he played with the Broncos at the end of his career.
Yes, and ironically the biggest play of his career was against the Broncos in Super Bowl XII, when Roger Staubach launched a bomb and Johnson made the diving catch over the goal line.
