To answer your topic question: If they are worth grading is entirely up to you. Personally, I wouldn't grade them but that's because I have reason to grade them. However, if they were a 64 Milwaukee Braves team card, I would consider it because thats what I collect. I don't know going rate for either of those cards in any condition, but I do know that somewhere around 57/58 it seems easier to find cards that grade better at more affordable prices. I've gotten PSA 7's and maybe a couple 8's for between $30-$40 a pop.
Again, completely up to you though. Might be worth checking completed eBay items to see where PSA 5's stand to determine if it's worth the grading fees though. Probably not worthwhile if the value only kicks up a few bucks.

Both cards are last series SP, if they grade PSA 5 it seems like a $20 - $30 bump in price compared to what the cards are selling for ungraded at EX-EX+.
EX5 seems realistic to me.
The '66T #544 Cards Rookie Stars typically picks up a premium, graded or not, because it is more difficult to acquire in mid-grade or better. The bump in price for a graded example vs. raw is offset by the cost of submitting. In some cases, it's better to move the card raw and let someone else do the work. If you have a more substantial number of cards to submit, then perhaps you'll do a little better with a card in a holder as part of a nice, consistent run of graded high numbers.
