I collect Seattle Pilots autographs, 1969 Topps autographs, Signed Mickey Mantle Home Run History cards and have a JC Martin collection (he was my college Baseball coach) Doug
The point of the red flip without a card grade is that it may be added to the signed card set registry, although it is given the lowest possible grade of PSA 1. A card with a blue flip cannot be added to the registry.
I get it, and it is cheaper than $25 and having a trimmed card come back as 'authentic'. Kind of upset me the one time I sent in the blue flip sub, though it was cheaper, i kept getting questioned if the cards were authentic. I'm a red flip, with card grade, kind of guy.

Whats the point of a red flip without card grade? It is because blue now says 'trading card'?
Yes. And the blue never authenticated the card anyway, whereas red does.
Bump, just seeing if anybody has something in the works
