1953 topps mickey mantle

Hi guys,

Saw this on ebay. got some question on it
Is this legit? How they handcut this? is this from a sheet?
And how does psa/sgc grade these?

    Hand cut = Trimmed is what I am guessing is what they really mean!!

    If you mean recently, then I would say no. Cut from a sheet back in 1953 by Topps at the factory, then yes. Someone has trimmed the card since then at some point, therefore card is only graded as Authentic only. As far as value, not sure??

    LOL. Hang in there and grow thicker skin. We're just having fun. A crucial element around here.



    I think you are considering too great of risk with this card. You'd be better off putting such a large sum of money into something else. Just an opinion. Good luck.

    The surfaces look fine. Nice card actually. Someone just mucked up and tried to make it better than it was in the edges and corners (like an idiot). Would pay 1k for it and get it PSA pedigree slabbed authentic with the label 'Trimmed just like the Wagner - Collection'

    haha, i did, offer a little bit more. but he's not selling
    that's why i'm asking how much estimate does this worth realistically.
