I purchased this coin from David Kahn in 2011 for about the same price as it is offered here. It was part of my personal collection for about 5 years, and was always one of my favorites. The eagle's head is remarkably well-struck for the variety. Most surviving examples, even in AU/MS condition, are missing all or nearly all of the detail at this area.
I'm sure the next owner won't be disappointed.

BustHalfBrian - You a smart kinda guy. I figured if someone was interested in this popular variety....... they would know the eagles head is sharp for the variety. My prime is even better, but that stays....... for now. Thanks for the comments.

My thought as well...I actually need one, but I want a higher grade one. Looks terrific for the grade.
