Provenanced 1616-WA. Saxe-Gotha. Johann Casimir & Johann Ernst Taler

I bought this coin a while back yet thought it needed better presentation especially given the history of this coin by US standards. Special eye appeal yet what made it also very interesting is the tag that came with it. Brandon took the various images I had and made them far more presentable. Thank you. A few combinations of the images, scroll all the way down.

Very nice, esp with the fine mounted knight on the reverse in full heraldic (sp?) display. The old brown envelope adds a bit of spice too and probably accounts for some of the remarkable toning. Congrats.

Z..this one continues to amaze me - just totally love the details, the eye appeal, and equally on both sides - thanks for posting it again, and yes Brandon has a way with the lens indeed.

I was mesmerized last year when I first noticed it, this is one that you can continue to show and will elicit new responses of awe each time.
