Modern "Buying Group"

Now that we know there is a vintage buying group driving up prices, is there a modern buying group driving up key modern PSA 10 RCs? I would expect Tom Brady, Peyton, Lebron RCs to spike however I was surprised to see that PSA 10 SP Authentic/Contenders Eli and Big Ben RCs well into 4 digits, sometime with a 2 or 3 as the first number. Even though there are many more RCs issued for modern, the pops are much lower, so I can see some rich guy trying to make a move.

I don't follow other modern sports so I'm not sure if this has spread to other key modern RCs. From football it seems like the focus is from 1998-2004.

If people say it enough times, then obviously it is the truth.

Why is it accepted there is a vintage buying group? That was not a takeaway from Brent"s post in my opinion. 10 to 30 buyers or whatever the numbers are does not mean it is coordinated. By the way did Brent ever follow up on his post in regards to agreement with EBay?

The biggest lesson I've learned in this hobby, and in life, is that if you have a strong conviction, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Don't sell yourself, or your investments, short. Unless the facts change. Then sell it all.

No! But there is a vintage "selling group". These 10-30 people have a lot of high grade rookies and they don't care about driving down prices by listing auctions starting at 99 cents!
