Keep getting pop-ups for this from dacard world. It's an empty case box. Only $11,000.00+. Anyone else see this?

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
Been around a while. I believe it was once priced close to 50K.
You are right Tim. When they first got that empty case they were asking FIFTY GRAND!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Everything has a value to someone, but this is just stretching the bounds of reason. Sure, it is somewhat related to card collecting, but the box holding the boxes holding the actual cards? Nah, I can't ever see a time when I would have an interest in something like that (other than the possibility to profit from it with a flip).
+1
I remember seeing this box on DA a few years ago for 50,000. I'm curious to know how much DA lost (or is going to lose) on this box.
BTW, I have a wood pallet that the cases were stacked on.
Too much. I just experienced an acid flashback.
lolll.

In all seriousness though, it is pretty cool.
Maybe the seller should try to get it stabbed

If someone had put together a master set, which would include the red and black backs, all the gray backs ( which sell for more than the high numbers these days), both versions of the Mantle, Thompson and Robinson, the Sain, Paige and the three versions of the Campos, the various House yellow Tiger versions, and all the recurring print defect variants identified in the Huggins and Scott auction in 2013...and a few since then, it might be a unique addition for such a collector....at the right price.

Al, didn't you just describe your 1952 collection?

Nobody is that crazy.
I just don't have the same appreciation for BB I guess?
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

They'll have to wait around to find someone sitting on 24 boxes of 1952 Topps packs who wants to rebuild the case (a frankencase)!
Yep, I lol'd at that. Well done. They'd then be able to mark them FAFC.

I have twenty boxes from my grandpa. I've been using them to keep the tp and paper towels off the floor in the basement in case we get a flood. Are you saying I should move them to a higher shelf?
