This Mantle has been like a high potato recently changing hands faster than a glove in the Winter. With so much chop and buyer's sellers fees, seems the auction houses are the ones making out.

    I don't understand why anyone would cross that card from SGC to BVG and leave maybe $100k or more on the table. If I were going to cross, it would have gone to PSA.

    I guess there is something to be said, bragging rights, for having population 1, highest graded BVG 1952 Mantle ever

    Perhaps it's a legit listing, but from an 18 feedback seller with past sales of $300-1100 items, I wouldn't expect many to go for that one at all. Reserve Not Met, no sale is my guess.

    He really should consign that card. I'm sures he's gotten dozen o f messages about it. Also if it was a 7.5 why tell anyone that? Seems bad for business.

    If i had the money and really wanted the card I would fly out and personally inspect it on the last day of auction and fly home with it if I won.For that kind of money and this kind of seller you should. Someone who does this could get a great price because of lack of participation. The downside is waste of money and time if it is a scam or you don't get the high bid

    Top bid now at 150K but top bidder has 28 bid retractions in the past 6 months. Just a bit suspicious wouldn't you say? At least it wouldn't be the guy I would want leading the charge in one of my auctions image . By the way, I put a bid in early on and now just watching for fun, but the seller messaged me with the reserve price which is 250K if anyone is interested :0

    This guy is a new member on BlowOut under "usmc03vet". He joined in Feb 2016. He contacted me about my Clemente RC a few weeks ago, but we couldnt come to a mutual ground on price. He gave me his number to try and work something out, so if anyone was actually interested in this card, at $250k+, I'm sure he'd be fine with you calling him.

    I actually think that he is selling this card on consignment. Just my guess.
