The National

Is anyone else getting psyched for the National? Hard to believe that it's only 4 months away! Used to hitting up an MLB game when we're there, but this year is tough since the Phillies leave town on Thursday afternoon when I plan to be at the show and the Yankees are a 2+ hour drive. Too bad minor league baseball left ACY a few years back. Any other ideas on fun things to do up there for a few days? Hope to meet up with some fellow board members there this year!
Go Dodgers!

Hello Michael, I'll be there again this year. Yeah a ballgame is that convenient this year for sure. There is always Wrigley again next year.

I know my wife and son are going to check out the beach situation, but not too much else to do as I'm not the gambling type.

Tim--I look forward to you quoting this entire post in a pm to me in 3, 2, 1image

    I won't be attending but wouldn't mind a handshake...or even a milkshake.

Have hotel booked for months, and trying to figure out flights into AC which looks like not a lot of them. Might have to fly to Philly and drive the rest. Like Chicago and Cleveland since those are 5-6 hour drives from Lex - don't think AC is a drive I want to make image

    Hiya David and Mike (cpa).

I've been giving this much thought and doubt I'll make it to AC.

I will miss seeing you guys and everyone else.

I will see ya in Chicago and Cleveland - coming years.

This is a tough one for me.

A real EZ drive to AC from philly. Around the stadium, over the bridge then a straight one hour shot on the NJ parkway....beware speeding tix.
Interested in higher grade vintage cards. Aren't we all. image

Thanks for the advice. Have not been to Philly in a long time - all of my mom's side of the family is from there 3-4 generations deep. Saw my first ever MLB game there in 1976 as an 8 year old when they played the Astros in a doubleheader - Schmidt, Luzinski, Bowa, Cash, Carlton. Guess we fly to Philly. 11 year old is really hooked on the National and has been to about 4-5 of them with me.
