A neat note from my collection

I bought this at an auction several years ago, don't even remember what I paid for it. It's a double entendre because the name if the town is also a banking term, right?

Any thoughts?

something doesn't look right with that note. is that a copy of it? I'm not familiar with that bank nor am I a nation expert, but I have never seen that name before. I think it's a really cool name. congrats.

Right bank name for that charter number, but you are right Marc, the note looks a bit funny in the pics.

Very cool! It really does look like a copy. Need to re-scan outside of the holder.

I scanned it through the holder. Not taking it out. And yes, it does look funny

Hmmmmm, I suppose it's okay but sure "appears" odd. Missing signatures? for such an obviously well circulated note. Difficult to tell if the signatures were there or not.?

Still, all in all, truly nice note to have if genuine, be happy image

Ok, ok, lesson learned. I will reconfigulate the scanner settings next time I scan currency. I have to use the scanner a lot for my day job in real estate so I was hoping to be lazy and not to have to unlearn the correct real estate settings, learn the correct currency settings, and go back and forth, but I agree, those are some terrible scans.

I can't blame the scanner because it's a 1999 model and it's still kicking, so I'll take all of the blame.
