The 2 are connected (both Caesars properties - beside each other with a walk between them without going outside) so the only difference may be the appearance of the room (haven't stayed in either).
I get a pretty sweet room rate at the Borgata right now, unfortunately I can only book that rate no more than 90 days ahead of time. Keeping my fingers crossed that they don't hike it up for me for the National.
Wow. Thats a big place to sell out so soon. Better book soon. So far the people Ive spoken to aren't going this year due to the location. Was looking forward to it.
Booked for two nights at the Marriott right down the street for $118. Probably just going to bring the little guy with me and fly in Thursday am to Philly, hit the show Thursday all day, grab a nice dinner, see the show Friday and fly out that night. Not real excited about the location, but the 11 year old has been to about 5 Nationals already and really wants to go so we are there.
Is it just me or does it seem like it is very slow card wise the last month or so? Not much for sale anywhere - hope it picks up soon.

I noticed a lot of usual guys not around here. I see theres a lot of game used stuff getting high dollars at least. Football more than baseball for obvious reasons. Baseball season is almost here and it should pick up once the juices get flowing.
Enjoy the show, but the location is ridiculous. This is probably going to be an awful show because of the location. They should have picked Vegas instead of AC. Nice going National promoters.

Just made my reservations with Conference Housing. Was told rooms were selling out fast, they are working on getting more hotels. I was able to get a room at Caesars, Sheraton is completely sold out. Was told it was tough getting hotels to block rooms because of summer tourist season. AC may turn out to be a place not to host again down the road if hotel accommodations are going to be this tough this soon before the show begins.
So is Caesars sold out or not? But Sheraton is? Id rather not make reservations this early because slim chance that we all are going although looking to go to another National. Its just the location this year. I did hear they found all of the dead bodies. So there is that.
Conference Housing told me Sheraton is sold out, Caesars is almost sold out. They were in the process of getting more room blocks at other hotels. So it seems the hotels on the NSCC website are either sold out or going to be shortly.
Unfortunately or fortunately due to my out of control gambling problem I can probably get a free room or suite. And I just lost a small SUV or should I say the crybaby lost it for me this weekend. But haven't lost tons of cash at ceasars so its iffy. Is there a National room rate?

Hey Kendall, we need to meet up at the National.
Sounds good. As it gets closer we will need to make plans.
