I am a novice collector focusing on Canadian, Irish and Japanese coins.
I like looking at raw coins and then try to work out appropriate price and grade. Price discovery requires a lot of research bordering on detective work. In the end though it is what the seller and buyer agree upon. And yes, I have made many mistakes. In the process though I have learned which dealers are fair and also who provides an education (more valuable sometimes than the coin itself).
Okay, my first attempt at linking with my tablet and the new software. Hopefully it works. The page is a nice way to get a quick understanding for dating Japanese coins. Basic, but useful for new people.
