I have had this large Great Britain copper penny since the 1960's:

Great Britain Penny 1797, 35mm, 26.60gm

These were called "cartwheels" and were a one-year type.

The coin is worn and the obverse has initials engraved on it, the letters look like "HG".
I do not know if the initials are a "love token" or a shop.

Neat! There's a Cartwheel 2d on eBay right now that has "EP" initials carved into the obverse. The seller, obviously possessed of a sense of humor, suggested maybe it meant "Elvis Presley", and had been carved by one of Elvis' ancestors who was " channeling" him through time.

I saw it just this morning in my love token browsing. Think it was just listed.

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.
