Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Couple of years ago they had a 68 topps Ryan rookie PSA 7 up for like $775 (after the 10% off or whatever was running at the time). I called and offered either $650 or $675....cant remember. They accepted my offer.
About a month later I made an offer on a 1986 Jordan rookie PSA 8 they had up for sale. They wouldn't budge on that one.
so Im 1 for 2 with them currently with negotiations.
I have asked a couple of times if they still have the card that didn't sell in the completed listings and they said NO. Maybe someone else asked before me???
Where do they get all these cards to send in??
I have been happy with all my purchases from them except one recently. Bought a 1980 topps PSA gem mint 10 and all 4 corners were dinged. Maybe the grader was in a hurry?
IT CAN'T BE A TRUE PLAYOFF UNLESS THE BIG TEN CHAMPIONS ARE INCLUDED
I think just about everyone sees them as a huge issue in one way or another. I asked them if I could see the back of a card and they said they don't have time to do that. They won't negotiate because they don't have to. And I've written on this forum how frustrating it is to do a set registry when basically all the cards you need are held by one or two people. If I were PSA, I would probably want a more "bubbly/cooperative" partner.

High end=high graded valuable cards.
They have many valuable PSA 9 and PSA 10's.
So yes I would say 4SC has many high end cards.

They have many valuable PSA 8 and PSA 9 cards for sale. The only problem is that they are in PSA 10 holders.
Baseball, it is said, is only a game. True. And the Grand Canyon is only a hole in Arizona.

So you are saying their cards are overgraded. Do you have any examples?

<< <i>I'm not sure who you're talking to at 4SC, but every time I've called them, I worked out a price with them that I was very happy with. >>
I suspect the difference is you're calling them and others are trying to negotiate through Ebay.
