Won my first coin from foreign auction (Indian gold)

Can't wait to see what it actually looks like in hand, and at the same time wonder how long it will take to receive it (UK Auction).

PRINCELY STATES, Hyderabad, Mir Mahbub Ali Khan (AH 1285-1329; 1869-1911 AD), Gold

It looks to be in great shape. Do mind me asking how much?

I'm pretty sure it's going to be smaller.

All-in including Buyers Premium its $950 USD

I'll image it when I receive it...

    This was their description:

G INDIAN COINS, PRINCELY STATES, Hyderabad, Mir Mahbub Ali Khan (AH 1285-1329; 1869-1911 AD), Gold Ashrafi, AH 1312, 11.11g (SAC KM Y22). Clear date and mint, extremely fine.

If this is for your 1869 set you are going to be upset to know it is dated AH1312, which is 1894 Gregorian calendar...

    Nice looking coin...

My April 27 eBAy win from Germany arrived yesterday so that was nine days total.

Hope you have the same good luck.

One of my long time friends and former colleagues' name is Mir Ali, he was born in India but is an American now.

Anyhow, I thought it was cool that the coin was minted during the same time period of a historical Mir Ali.

In terms of 1869 coins from India, it might be tough to find and AH1285 or 1286 coin (both representing 1869) but I'll keep looking. Meanwhile, I'm psyched to get this coin as it looks really cool.

Received the coin today from England, and imaged it. Tough coin to image, might have to try again in a couple days.

It's irregular (like an Ancient), and high relief (so need to do photo stacking).

But here's a first attempt on the quick...
