    Oh, wow.

I can't resist. Consider it sold.

Whazzat on the reverse? Bird Lady spanking an armadillohorse?

Too trippy to pass up for six bucks. image

Dang! Cool hobo type folk art token on a Canadian Wellington 1/2d token too!

Lord M - if you ever decide to part with it ...

"Whazzat on the reverse? Bird Lady spanking an armadillohorse?"

    Now THAT is funny!

I must admit when I saw the reverse(?), I turned my head at all sorts of strange angles trying to puzzle it out myself.

Very entertaining coin. Good for you LM!

The more I look at it, the more foxlike that critter looks.

    It's an ArmadilloHorseDachshundFox hybrid.

And Lo, Penguin Lady she shall be. Good name.

(Boy, howd'ya like to run into her in a dark alley? Brr! There's some nightmare fuel.)

I love my new six-dollar newp, and it's just altered the course of my secondary sideline collection. I was going to do an engraved/counterstamped/love token type set of US coins (sort of along the Dansco 7070 lines), but now that I have this one, I'll throw that out the window and go for worldwide engraved oddities. There is simply too much cool British colonial/Napoleonic era stuff out there that I've found appealing in the past.
