This type is listed with the colonials in the Red Book of US Coins, due to its use in Louisiana around the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

Nice even brown color with decent surfaces. Asking $225 delivered.

    I've seen these in slabs before. They should grade it. If it doesn't grade, it will have been disqualified based on something other than the counterstamp.
