Does PSA Grade Just Wrappers

I was wondering if PSA graded wrappers. Im my mind im thinking layed out flat in a slab. Never seen one just wondered.

    I have not seen wrapper grading offered yet (by PSA, that is).

    would the wrapper be graded with or without the counter underneath it?

    wrappers is something i think ALOT of collectors would try and do a "run" of. imagine 1952 topps wrappers to present. that would be cool.

    Did you hear this from someone in PSA? I asked PSA customer service in June since I was looking to encapsulate 1936-38 Overland Candy, which are wrappers, and Priscilla from PSA responded that they don't grade wrappers because they are too fragile to holder.

    This would be cool but I hope they cater the grading standards around wrappers that were actually used to wrap a wax pack. I think a wrapper with a bit of wax and creases where it would have been folded around the pack would be cooler than a pristine wrapper that was never used and just sat in warehouse.

    they have graded a 1968 3d wrapper, it's folded up like a pack and in a pack holder

    Picked up a couple beautiful vintage hockey wrappers at the National and decided to do a little research and resurrect this thread.

    Looks to me like the 68 3D wrapper is the only wrapper that's ever been slabbed (per the pop report). Does anyone know if this means PSA will slab wax wrappers? Obviously there are no current PSA grading standards for wrappers, but I'd be happy to have mine slabbed as authentic. Any feedback would be most appreciated!

    I sent some 1933 Goudey wrappers to be graded in Jan 2014 and they were returned to me unholdered.

    Thanks for the quick reply - Wonder why PSA would have slabbed one wrapper and return yours unholdered? Were you expecting a numerical grade or an authentic slab?

    Think I may call their customer service area tomorrow and ask if they will authenticate like the 68 3D wrapper.

    Holy Crap Dave! I know that I used to have about half of those PACKS back in the day... all graded by GAI ... and none were more than $30.00, IIRC. Maybe the others are rare? Who knows ... but DEFINITELY a HUGE windfall for the seller, IMO.

    My feelings also. Is it possible two snipers put an extra digit in their snipe??

    I once meant to snipe an item at $41.66. Instead, I mistakenly entered $416.66~luckily I won the item for "only" $60, LOL!

    There's been some really nice wrappers on eBay lately. Superman 1940 Gum, Presidents, Hogan's Heroes, a couple '52 Topps, 60s Batman.

    I think anyone putting these sets together would enjoy adding a wrapper to their collection. I was outbid on a 1940 Superman Gum wrapper last months that went for more than $200.

    My nonsports connections tell me that the Scanlens Super Stickers wrapper is the rare/valuable one. But I can't find any documentation of its existence, let alone its value....
