Stopped at a local store to get a snack on the way home and noticed that glint in my hand when I got my change. Turned out to be a 1946 Roosie. Only one he had.

I just picked up a $500 face value bag of 5000 pre 1965 Roosevelts .. I am quite sure there will be a fe w1946's within and maybe even a few with nice eye appeal ..
Since you got yours back in change - You did far better than me that is for sure ... about 1350% better
