It actually bothers me much more than it bothers PSA. Personally, I consider centering of 90/10 or better on the reverse to be unworthy of a grade of 9. It should be 75/25 or better. They should at least add a qualifier.
"Nobody's ever gone the distance with Creed, and if I can go that distance, you see, and that bell rings and I'm still standin', I'm gonna know for the first time in my life, see, that I weren't just another bum from the neighborhood."
I try to find cards with decently centered backs but I do have many 9s that aren't well centered on the back. For some years and cards like 1973 #1 HR leaders, it's essentially impossible to have good centering on the front and back.
I mainly focus on unopened, so my preference is limited to packs with stars on back... and I'm good with anything better than 90/10. I almost like stars on back better, the front is still a mystery. The exception would be (obviously) a perfectly centered star on front.
Like others have stated, I am more lenient on the quality of the back but if there are any major issues (like as stain, terrible centering, etc.) it good be a deal breaker, particularly if I'm spending a lot of dough on the card....
For example, I bought a 5 EX Nolan Ryan RC with an ok back while many of the 5's had bad backs (o/c, etc.) so when I spend $200+ on it back ended up mattering and I passed on my auctions without a back scan.
It also depends on the card, for example, most '73 Clemente's are badly centered on back so I kinda want one that doesn't have this issue...

<< <i>As long as it's not extremely obvious (90/10 or worse), it's a non-factor for me. When it does matter, it's at the margins. >>
+1 As long as there is some border (not miscut) I tolerate a lot on the back

The same.
I've got near perfectly centered obverse cards with totally OC backs 90/10 e.g.
