Why is the 1996 Tiger Woods SI for kids PSA card tough to find

If you look on ebay right now there is not a single graded PSA card for sale. You will find about 8 BGS cards and even this is a low amount given this is a 1996 card. I think this card is undervalued given his stature in the game. He is the last person since Michael Jordan that actually moves the needle when it comes to television ratings. I am trying to figure out why you do not see more of his cards for sale. Are most in personal collections or are people just waiting for him to win another major before they sell. Just looking for opinions.

    I think part of the reason is that Tiger is one Major win away from having significant interest and a nice jump in return. Given that simple premise and the fact that he's out with an injury and hasn't won a major in awhile, there's really no impetus to sell now when the card is probably at a low point with respect to value.

    Adding to what otwcards said, also consider that golf doesn't draw anywhere near the card collecting interest as the four major team sports.

    You would think that someone would at least put one on ebay with a high price tag on it though.

    There are over 1,300 in the pop report, so it does seem odd.

    If I remember correctly, that card is also hard to find not creased down the middle, as it was the middle card of a 9 card sheet.

    I agree as well that you would be selling at a low point now.....if Tiger can win a major you will see this card listed more frequently.

    I get what you are saying but you must add Lebron James to that list. If the Heat doesn't make the finals you will see my point.
