Nope it's pure spam makes me want to avoid that site...jmo
  • Hi everyone, I appreciate the responses. I am not trying to spam anyone--that is the least of my intentions. I am not even trying to SELL anything...

My wife and I started this site (you can see for yourselves who we are in the About Us section of our website) for collectors like ourselves to spread our passion; we are working with a small marketing budget so I am just trying to build awareness as cheaply as possible at this point.

I sincerely thought that the BST forum would be a legit and acceptable way to go about this--I am just offering collectors another venue to buy, sell and trade, afterall. I'm sorry some of you interpret this as spam but honestly, we are just trying to build a site from the ground up without a multi-million advertising budget like some of the mainstream sites have.

We even allow people to just show off their collectibles for others to see--we are not just a site that offers buying/selling features. We have classic cars, antiques, and all kinds of neat stuff on there already.

I'd be happy to answer any questions any of you have about the site and would be more than thrilled to have any of you as members. I am a normal human--just a collector like you all. I am not a spam bot.

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Byrd,

I was just trying to spread the word to different types of coin collectors, that's all. Please see my comments/explanation above. I hope it changes your mind

This is an ad on the B/S/T; thus, it is not spam. If it was on the US Coin Forum it would be spam.

I feel it is this, but I don't like how the OP is bumping their own thread more than once a day since this IS on the BST, it takes away from others by doing so.

This use to be the rule here, but with SM1, and seemingly no one else not moderating this Forum, I guess all is fair, so I will start bumping my BST threads more than once a day. I've seen others who know better doing it too, but I have been reluctant, so since it's regularly being done without any repercussions, I will too and this will be my justification. There's no real BST action on this site anymore anyways.

The OP is new here and there is a way to fix his errors: Tell him what he's doing wrong.

    A) don't put this kind of message all over the forum, just in the giveaway section(s).

    B) don't reply to your own thread once per day on BST forums.

    Hope this helps.
