What items are at the national? Primarily? Any Game used?

Hey guys,
Haven't been to the national in about 15 years. Are they going to have much game used material there? Or mostly cards, exhibits?
Thx
....this is the one with a tremendous amount of signers everyday, correct?

Here is the URL for the NSCC, website in case you want to read up a little on it. I've never been to one so I can't offer much other than what I've seen on YouTube videos. There are many videos you can watch of people walking around the shows if you want to get a feel for it.

If you're looking for it, you can probably find it. You just have to have the fortitude to look and ask. While it isn't as easy as eBay, the goods are tangible and there are some values to be had.

Google "Bill Simmons at the National" and check out the links from grantland and espn. Trust me.

That should give you an idea. image

Don't take it personal, I think 1000 of his 1215 posts are 'post removed'.

Yes you will find game used equipment. Although I don't collect it, I have seen a lot of it...won't come cheap! Lots of graded cards from all decades but once again, normally at a higher cost than you might see on eBay for the same piece. Still I come home each year with what I would consider some good purchases, you just have to look for it. Lots of ungraded cards also but for 1940s-1960s normally not high grade. You might just enjoy viewing the vast array of collectibles that is on display and you can touch base with representatives from just about every business associated with the sports collectibles industry. I always stay three days and go around the floor several times.....enjoy it some much I go back just about every year.
