Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Isn't this the supposedly reliable GAI period? I'm beginning to wonder whether trusting TPGs on pack legitimacy is just informed by a desperate desire to believe.
I would avoid any all series pack in which the same card appears on both front and back.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
Murray should only appear on the back of a 78 cello pack. Obviously, I'm sure there have been factory mishaps that resulted in Murray showing up on the front of a cello. But the odds of him on front and back on the same 78 cello are about the same as you getting attacked by a polar bear and a grizzly bear on the same day you win the lottery.
Even in a legit holder, I still go by the old adage; if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
What gets me is, if I as an unopened novice have questions about packs like this, why aren't the professionals asking similar questions and doing some research?
They seemingly have no issues sending back pack pulled cards with "evidence of trimming" so just curious why a pack like this doesn't get sent back for "evidence of BS"
52-90 All Sports, Mostly Topps, Mostly HOF, and some assorted wax.
To blame Pepis on all the bad packs out there is simply short sighted. If you took away all the bad packs he made, there would still be tons of them out there.

HMMMMM, not sure that I blamed ALL of them on him. As a matter of fact I've probably expressed my opinion on only a few of them. Me shortsighted? And you stated that I blamed him for ALL the bad packs?
STAY HEALTHY!

Yeah - I thought the silver flip with #'s beginning with 102 were believed to be okay. Obviously, I would have doubts about this pack.
