I still think its best to put fragile on the package. If not then they are more likely to throw your packages into bins, etc.

Did you read the article? Popular Mechanics' experiment says the opposite is true, although their sample size was very small.

Truth. Have been told the exact same thing multiple times from insiders, thus I have always made it a point to abstain. Have never once had a mishap in transit as a result. I'm sure my time is coming, but it will never be a "I've got your fragile right here" scenario.

LOL. This is exactly how I read the word fragile too.
As for Fragile, I'm not a seller so I don't ship anything, but as a buyer I don't even like my box referencing baseball cards in any way, on the return address. That's why I love buying from board members. BBCE is the one exception.
I kinda feel like the Fragile reference or Baseball Cards in return address, may just as well be labeled Valuable Please Take Me.
I've never had an issue though so I'm sure it's my own paranoia, but temptation makes people do crazy things. Whether its theft or kicking a fragile box.
But I did appreciate the comment about the Fragile label releasing you from some some liability, but at the end of the day, the buyer may fuss either way.
