86 Fleer Baskets- hold or submit? (with some scans)

Recently found my childhood stash of 86's. (apprx 400 cards). My goal was to find jordan and the heck with the rest of the cards. Hated basketball but wasn't a fool. These haven't seen daylight or eyeballs since probably 88. Gorgeous shape, I'll post some pictures later. Going to send a small batch of commons and see what they get. I'm guessing the recent "slower" turn times at PSA won't improve with what I assume is a new sub avalanche from the National. Thinking I should wait on them to get the best results. Thoughts?

These are some cards I excluded from the set I put together for submission. For normal reasons: centering, chipping I just don't think they would get 8's. Will submit them eventually but want to see what the test batch brings. What do you think these get?

The very crooked checklist wording on the back hurts because otherwise it's a real nice card. Sorry about the wacky
posting as I clearly struggle to take pics and post them.

the Moore & checklist will definitely get qualifiers of OC, Id look to pick up graded or other raw cards of those

All the cards you posted are 8-9's. PSA is slammed right now, I don't think there is really any "good" time to submit the cards. I think if you submit them on one order, and keep them free of any other cards on the submission, you will have your best results. Good Luck,

I will disagree with you, I don't believe either card would come back O/C. The checklist is notoriously off centered, that one is actually not that bad.

I also don't think they would come back O/C.

Either way they are in very nice condition for a childhood stash. GL with that Kareem, looks nice

If it helps I'm usually a solid half to 3 points off. Qualifiers I never get a total grasp of either. If I subbed the card it'd probably come back a 4

Not familiar with the ins and outs of this set, but is that chipping or rough cuts? How does PSA treat rough cuts?

I agree with mbmiller, the lot looks to be in the 8-9 range. Of these 5 I would probably submit 3 of them. The Kareem and Checklist are definitely worth your time to submit. The commons look like 9's at best and probably more like 8's due to centering (on the Moore and the Vandeweghe) and the Cheeks edges and corners would probably keep it at an 8 despite the good centering. The Moore is probably still worth sending in because it is a tough (low pop) common and the chance at a 9 makes it a high enough payoff to try (even with an 8 you should get back your grading fees). The other commons are too common and I probably wouldn't bother. Your best case scenario on those two looks to be a 9 grade which barely breaks even. And the grade you're more likely to get (an 8) loses you money on the transaction. Just my opinion. Hope it helps. BTW if you want to sell the checklist (or the Kareem) instead of submitting add me to the list of interested buyers.

Thanks for all the responses guys. Like I said these are just leftover cards that didn't make the cut. I'd be happy to sell once they come back from PSA. I'll repost when they pop.
